Crea una nuova pagina WordPress con lo shortcode [qrtavola_menu], poi selezionala in QRdigitalmenu → Impostazioni → Pagina del menu. È la pagina a cui puntano tutti i QR.
Create a new WordPress page with the [qrtavola_menu] shortcode, then select it in QRdigitalmenu → Settings → Menu page. This is the page every QR code points to.
Aggiungi categorie e piatti
Add categories and dishes
Categorie → crea le sezioni del menu (Antipasti, Primi...). Piatti → aggiungi ogni piatto con prezzo, foto e allergeni. Le varianti (dimensioni, aggiunte) si aggiungono dalla stessa scheda.
Categories → create the menu sections (Starters, Mains...). Dishes → add each dish with price, photo and allergens. Variants (sizes, add-ons) are added from the same screen.

Tavoli → aggiungi ogni tavolo del locale: il QR si genera automaticamente. Stampalo (SVG sempre nitido) e mettilo sul tavolo.

One tap and the order is in the kitchen. The guest can keep browsing the menu and order more whenever they like, on the same tab.

The order ticket, always at hand
Toccando "Conto in corso" il cliente vede ogni piatto ordinato e il suo stato — in preparazione o in tavola — aggiornato da solo. Resta consultabile finché il conto non viene chiuso in cassa.
Tapping "Current tab" the guest sees every dish ordered and its status — being prepared or served — updating on its own. It stays available until the tab is closed at the till.

Un tocco su "Richiedi il conto" e lo staff lo sa subito, senza che il cliente debba cercare un cameriere con lo sguardo. Il totale mostra già l'IVA inclusa, calcolata da sola in base alle aliquote impostate sulle categorie del menu.
One tap on "Ask for the bill" and the staff knows right away, no need for the guest to catch a waiter's eye. The total already shows VAT included, calculated automatically from the rates set on the menu categories.

Appena il conto viene chiuso in cassa, un pannello discreto chiede al cliente di valutare cibo e servizio toccando un'emoji — nessun campo da scrivere, nessuna registrazione richiesta. Compare una sola volta per conto, e le medie finiscono nel Report.
As soon as the tab is closed at the till, a discreet panel asks the guest to rate food and service by tapping an emoji — nothing to type, no sign-up needed. It appears once per tab, and the averages land in the Report.
Il menu può parlare anche più di una lingua: se il locale attiva l'inglese da Impostazioni, un piccolo selettore compare accanto al nome del locale.
The menu can speak more than one language: if the venue enables English from Settings, a small switch appears next to the venue name.

Un tocco per l'inglese
One tap for English
Gli allergeni standard sono già pronti in inglese. Per i piatti basta aggiungere nome e descrizione in inglese da Piatti — se manca la traduzione, resta visibile l'italiano invece di un vuoto.
Standard allergens are already translated. For dishes, just add the English name and description from Dishes — if a translation is missing, Italian stays visible instead of a blank field.

The same app, opened from the kitchen's QR on a tablet or monitor, becomes the staff's working view: no paper, no rewriting orders.

Gli ordini arrivano in tempo reale, raggruppati per tavolo, con note e varianti in chiaro. Quando un piatto esce dalla cucina, un tocco su "Segna uscito" lo comunica subito al cliente.
Orders arrive in real time, grouped by table, with notes and variants shown clearly. When a dish leaves the kitchen, a tap on "Mark as out" tells the guest immediately.

Colors, fonts, layout and even the opening animation are chosen from a panel with a live preview next to the form — you see the result before you even save, without writing a line of CSS.

Three menu layouts, six font styles
Oltre alla lista con foto e alla griglia a due colonne, un terzo layout — "Linee" — elegante e senza fotografie, con i puntini che accompagnano l'occhio dal nome del piatto al prezzo, come su un vero menu di carta. Il carattere si sceglie tra sei stili molto diversi: serif elegante, sans moderno, manoscritto informale, bold vintage, squadrato condensato, arrotondato friendly.
Alongside the list-with-photos and the two-column grid, a third layout — "Lines" — elegant and photo-free, with dotted leaders guiding the eye from the dish name to the price, just like on a real paper menu. The typeface can be chosen from six very different styles: elegant serif, modern sans, informal handwritten, vintage bold, condensed square, friendly rounded.

Four colors are enough, ten if you need more
Il punto di partenza sono quattro colori — principale, accento, sfondo, testo — e cinque temi pronti già bilanciati. Tutte le altre sfumature (bordi, sfondi secondari, testo attenuato) si calcolano da sole. Chi vuole il controllo fine può sovrascrivere ognuna a mano nei "Colori avanzati", incluso il colore di "esaurito" e quello di "pronto".
The starting point is four colors — primary, accent, background, text — and five ready-made, already-balanced themes. Every other shade (borders, secondary backgrounds, muted text) is calculated automatically. Anyone who wants fine control can override each one by hand in "Advanced colors", including the "sold out" and "ready" colors.

Ogni codice emesso resta in uno storico, anche dopo una rigenerazione: un tocco su "Riattiva" e il tavolo torna al QR di prima. Un secondo strumento permette di incollare il link letto da un foglio già stampato per sapere a quale tavolo corrisponde e rimetterlo in uso — anche su un altro tavolo, se serve riassegnarlo.
Every issued code stays in a history, even after a regeneration: a tap on "Reactivate" and the table goes back to its previous QR. A second tool lets you paste the link read from an already-printed sheet to find out which table it belongs to and put it back into use — even on a different table, if it needs reassigning.

Si stampano una volta sola e restano appesi in cucina e alla cassa. Se uno finisce nelle mani sbagliate, "Rigenera QR" lo invalida all'istante senza toccare quello dell'altra postazione.
Printed once and left hanging in the kitchen and at the till. If one ends up in the wrong hands, "Regenerate QR" invalidates it instantly without touching the other station's code.

Starters, mains, sides... the order sections appear in the menu is decided here, without touching any code. Each category can have its own VAT rate, even a different one for dine-in vs. takeaway if needed: the bill total works it out automatically.

Oltre a nome, valuta e parametri asporto: indirizzo e P.IVA del locale, un coperto opzionale mostrato come nota nel menu, orari di apertura giorno per giorno (compaiono nel footer del menu al posto del testo libero), le lingue in cui offrire il menu (oggi italiano e inglese) e l'avviso sonoro per i nuovi ordini in cucina.
Beyond name, currency and takeaway parameters: the venue's address and VAT number, an optional cover charge shown as a note in the menu, day-by-day opening hours (shown in the menu footer instead of free text), which languages to offer the menu in (Italian and English today) and the sound alert for new kitchen orders.

Chi ordina asporto o consegna paga di persona, non online: per questo serve sapere con certezza chi ritira l'ordine. Un account verificato via email basta a garantirlo, senza dati di pagamento da gestire.
Guests ordering takeaway or delivery pay in person, not online: that's why we need to know with certainty who's picking up the order. A verified account confirmed by email is enough — no payment details to manage.

If the venue offers both options, the guest chooses on the spot; if it only offers one, the cart adapts automatically. For delivery, the address is entered right there, in the same step.
